One of the coolest features is that you can subscribe to any public calendar and keep all your appointments and tasks in one place.
So what counts as a public calendar?
A public calendar is any calendar that’s available for public consumption like your favorite sports team’s schedule, a national holidays list or the calendar of your local MeetUp group.
To add public calendars to your Google calendar, go to Other Calendars.
From there you can:
Add calendars your friends sent you
Browse interesting calendars
Add calendars using the URL
You can even import calendars
To manage your selections, go to Settings and select Calendars.
