How to add a public calendar to your Google calendar

It’s one minute tech tip time- tips so good they can make you smarter in 60 seconds. Google calendar is pretty useful. One of the coolest features is that you can subscribe to any public calendar and keep all your appointments and tasks in one place. So what counts as a public calendar? A public calendar is any calendar that’s available for public consumption like your favorite sports team’s schedule, a national holidays list or the calendar of your local MeetUp group. To add public calendars to your Google calendar, go to Other Calendars. From there you can:
  • Add calendars your friends sent you
  • Browse interesting calendars
  • Add calendars using the URL
  • You can even import calendars
To manage your selections, go to Settings and select Calendars. Never miss another game or holiday again.

Until next time, have fun storming the castle!
