Enter: 2-step verification.
It’s one of the best (and easiest) things you can do to keep all your important information safe.
To set up 2-step verification for your Google account, click on your image in the top right-hand corner and select My Account.
2. Click on Sign in and security
3. Scroll down to Password & sign-in method, and click on 2-step verification
Google will then take you through a quick setup process.
You’ll be asked to re-enter your password to make sure it’s you. Then, you’ll set up your 2-step verification using your phone number– so make sure your phone is next to you when you do this!
Ten painless seconds later, and you are done. Your data is now even more secure!
