My husband and i are new to computers. We purchased this laptop for home use to use with our tv and our cannon camera. We waited to find the best laptop for our purposes. We purchased this laptop after watching your programs on our 15 year ld tv. The only thing wrong is that we have problems running some programs? or downloading because the reason given is that some programs dont support the 64bit platform. We are at a loss and are getting fed u p. Also the screen has this funny dot and dots on it. Someone told us it has soemthing to do with pixels. It has never been damage or hurt in anyway. Do you know what these dots are. As you seem to be using HP most of the time have you ever seen these dots. For our first computer some of it is quite easy but this 64 bit is confusing. We cannot find anything on this on the internet. Could you hep us. You can call collect. Thank you we look forward to now watching you on our computer. OLD OLD SCHOOL.

We are not aware of any thing that would cause the dots you speak of. If the computer has recently been purchased then I would recommend you return it for a new one. As for the 64 bit issue you will have to obtain versions of the software you want to use that are compatible with 64 bit machines.
