If the answer to that question is yes, then do we ever have the show for you! We are going on a road trip this week to visit our good friends at Samsung. HDTV, DLP, CRT, LCD, Plasma ... is your head spinning yet? Don't worry, we are going to lay it all out for you in plain english and help you figure out what suits you and your household. We are going to take our time and spend the whole show going through the details, so sit back in front of your TV and I will show you ... well, TVs

I would like to know the difference in energy consumption between lcd and plasma
LCD Flat panel TV Size
I just watched an episode on LCD verses Plasma; I believe it was probably a rerun. During the episode there was mention of how to size a TV for the appropriate viewing distance. My wife said there was mention of a chart available to calculate this. Could you please either give me the link to the chart or tell me how to obtain a copy?
I am on 28.8 Dial-Up (yes it still exists) so viewing past episodes to get the information isn’t really an option.
Thnx Joe

Good Day,
I would recommend that you review the information found at the Samsung Learning Center. The website is http://product.samsung.com/cgi-bin/nabc/campaign/university/hdtv/hdtv.js...

Room Chart

http://www.dottotech.com/episodes/season-5/hdtv-part-2 is an old program from season 4. The info is from Samsung.com but the site is extremly slow and I didn't find what was mentioned on the show, probably because the site has been updated since then.

I just watched this show and seen dotto working on a program that showed a virtual living room that assist in tv sizing. Does anyone know the link I really would like to use it. The link above did not work.

Thank you!

I know I could have done an internet search on distance vs pricing for a HD TV but this was WAY more fun. Thanks for making my day a bit easier Fraser. Hope you have a great day!
